We are looking for objects of Sussex provenance related to:

• The early history of policing

• Women police officers

• LGBT police officers

• Specialist uniforms

• Objects of activism and protest!

If you have any objects in these areas which you would like to share with us to help enrich the history displayed in our collections, please email:

Description of the item(s) to be donated, including publication details or identifying marks

Name of the maker or author if applicable

History of the item(s), eg, who made it, its history, personal stories associated with it, etc.

How did you acquire it?

If purchased, please say where from.

Can you confirm you are the owner of the item(s) and you are able to transfer ownership to Old Police Cells Museum Brighton?

If you are not the owner, please tell us who the owner is (if known).
