How the cell looked when the block was in use

A reconstruction of the original cells.

Male cell 1 has seen many prisoners through the years. Graffitti left by some prisoners are still visible on the walls today. The cells were substantial with very strong locks and keeps. There is a spy hole in each cell door which enabled officers to oversee the prisoners.
